up for sale is a classic old cj in good condition. a friend of mine picked up this jeep and when I saw it, I just had to have it. thought I'd fix it up this winter, but now I've lost interest. I've not driven it much, but i'll tell you what I know. the jeep is real peppy with the 304 v8. somewhere down the line, someone has installed a aluminum intake and four barrel carb. it starts and runs good once its warmed up but is a little slow warming up. might need a little work on the choke with winter coming on. it has power steering, manual brakes, tilt wheel. seats have been recovered and are in pretty good condition. underside looks to be in pretty good shape also. body has been coated with bedliner, so its hard to tell if its had any body repairs over the years. the body looks very good though if you don't mind bedliner. top is in good condition except someone cut a hole in the rear ''glass''. it has been repaired, but doesn't look too good. there is a chip in the windshield under the rearview mirror. I tried to get a picture of it, but it didn't turn out. tailgate panel has been replaced and is missing the snaps for the top to fasten to. it's had extra gauges added that are aftermarket. I haven't checked to see if they work. jeep drives like it should. steers and handles real good. this could be a fantastic jeep with minimal work.
