This Car is being relisted due to 2 reasons the first being a NON-Paying bidder! The bidders eBay name was westmauidreams from Hawaii who must like wasting peoples time & money!! If you are not a real buyer or don't have the money please don't bid. There is a $500 deposit due within 24 hours thru Paypal if you are unable to do this also please don't bid. The second reason it is being relisted is apparently eBay had a glitch in their system causing some bidders not to be able to bid on items that ended on Thursday October 29th from 6:30 to 9:30 which is when this car ended previously so in a way I am somewhat happy the high bidder didn't follow thru and pay because this car should have brought much more than it did. You are looking at a REAL 1970 Boss 302 that is Calypso Coral in color!! A very desirable color combination with the black interior. There is a clear title that matches the vin tag in the dash and on the aprons. This is not a rebody this is the real deal. All frame rails are very nice with NO rust and I think they are original. This is a VERY solid car! It looks like the torque boxes and some floor pans were put in at one time but done very nicely. This was originally a Calypso Coral exterior and black interior car with 3:91 traction-Lok Rear Axle, 4 speed close ratio transmission, Rear Spoiler, Shaker Hood Scoop, Power Steering, & Tach. Most of these items are not included with the car. I do have a Marti Report to confirm what this car really is. There are Disc Brakes & a Rear Fold Down seat in the car. The car is missing the correct motor, tranny, and rear end. Along with the under dash wire harness and many small miscellaneous items. The car needs rear quarters replaced & the drivers side rocker panel needs to be finished off. I do have a correct motor, transmission, and rear end housing available to the winning bidder only for $6000 which I feel is a very fair price. Details are below on these parts. I can assist in loading the car onto a trailer or a transport if needed. I bought this car as it is at an Estate Auction with plans of building it someday but I know that day will never come so I am selling it as is. If you have any questions regarding payment or picking up of the car please ask before bidding. Please ask any and all questions!! Here are some details on the motor, tranny, and rear end housing. The motor is a standard bore service replacement block so it is a D1 number, it is missing the exhaust manifolds, distributor, and carburator. I pulled the pan and one head off to check it out there was no ridge on the top of the cylinders. You could maybe get by just putting gaskets in it but I would check the lower end bearings. The tranny is in great condtion, I just pulled it out of one of my other Mustangs and switched to an automatic so my wife could drive the car, the tag on the tranny does code to a 70 Boss 302. The rear end is just the housing no 3rd member or axles, but it did come out of a Boss 302 with the staggered shocks. These will be available to the winner of the car only.
