Vehicle Detail

This car is route 66 calendar car. It is a completely rebuilt with a stroker 500 off the 440 block. Has an A833 manual transmission with a line lock attached to the Hurst shifter. This is not a numbers matching car but this beauty is truly a drag/strip power house!!! I'm selling this car because I'm over extended with projects and obligations. The engine is completely redone to a new crank shaft to new valves, pistons, and rings….everything redone. The block was machined and blueprinted. The car has been Dynoed at 511lbs of torque to rear wheels, which can be viewed including other videos and pics, on our Facebook. www.facebook.com/aamcowest. We have the new build sheet. Has about 150 miles since rebuild. The rear end is a Dana 60 with 3.54 gears. The wheels are 17s. Boss aluminum. On Nov-03-15 at 16:21:44 PST, seller added the following information: I would like to remind everyone of two important facts. The power this car has and demonstrates is at an altitude of 6100 ft. For those who don't realize it translates into a 20% Hp loss from sea level. At 500ft this car would be sick! Second point is we are in New Mexico. The state of no rust. We don't have those problems here at all! I mean not at all!On Nov-05-15 at 08:34:03 PST, seller added the following information: This car does in fact come with a complete sound surround system with amplifier....driver side door speaker needs to be replaced. It has 4 wheel Willwood disc brakes. It also has a line lock. The fuel lines are steel braided -6 performance lines with a fuel regulator at the holly 950 inlet. The fuel pump is mechanical but is the Edelbrock performance style. I have capped return line. I have made modifications so there is absolutely no vacuum in fuel tank because of no return fuel line. LOL....it took me a year to figure out how to do that too. Nobody knew and I couldn't look it up on the internet. The fuel tank is new and I have silver sodded the boot so you can now easily use AN fittings to attach to fuel tank instead of rubber hoses and clamps.
