Vehicle Detail

Up for auction is a 1963 Chevy C10 Fleetside Long Bed. The truck is far from perfect, so please review the photos and read this listing carefully. What you see is what you get, a 52 year old truck that runs and drives great. As a matter of fact, it is a blast to drive! The fan, defrost, heat, and air (air as in vent, not A/C) are believed to work, but I have never used them for any length of time. The gauges, lights, and signals all work properly. As you can clearly see from the photos, the truck will need some body work if you choose to restore it. There are numerous dents, dings, and scratches all around. The windshield has a couple of chips (approximately dime sized) on the drivers side, but they are not too distracting. The cab corners are both rusted pretty badly, and there is a lot of surface and underbody rust. However, the truck has some nice patina, and given its age, its not in bad shape for never being restored. It was originally a mint green color, but somewhere along the line it was painted gold. I have a clean Indiana Title in hand. The Title states that the mileage is "exempt," but it is believed to have 105,594 actual miles. It has an inline 6 under the hood. It also has a three speed on the column ("three on the tree"), and it has disc brakes and manual steering. Additionally, it has a solid wood bed that is not showing any signs of rot. Furthermore, it has the following a new items: bench seat cover, bed cover, sun visors, master cylinder, floor mats, pedal pads, and full moon hubcaps. It recently had a full synthetic oil change. You can drive it as-is, make it a rat rod, or fully restore it. I bought the truck earlier this year with the intention of restoring it, but I have since lost interest in the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle off of the son of the original owner. The truck is being sold as-is. Winning bidder will be responsible for picking up the vehicle. Winner bidder to pay a $1,000.00 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of placing the winning bid. Balance to be paid in cash when the vehicle is picked up. Good luck and happy bidding! On Nov-03-15 at 05:13:57 PST, seller added the following information: Up for auction is a 1963 Chevy C10 Fleetside Long Bed.
