For Sale; 1986 Honda Goldwing Aspencade Gl 1200cc with 46,225 miles. I've owned this Bike about 2 1/2 years now. Originally it was gun steel grey & charcoal black. I had it professionally repainted Shimmering Metallic Silver, at West End Body Shop in Grand Rapids, Michigan (the paint job was $1,500.00, plus $500.00 for tare-down & reassembly). Then I brought it to a local bike dealer, Shawmut Hills Fox Motor Sports, They installed a new vented Memphis Shades windshield, new seat & backrest, new tires, new hand grips and levers, new engine belts, fixed the brakes & rebuilt the master-cylinder, replaced front shock seals, and replaced the exhaust pipes (parts & labor was $3,500). After that I added a couple of dozen pieces of nice chrome, at around $100.00 a pop. In the past year I brought it to D-3 Custom Bike Shop in Grand Rapids, MI; and had the front & back wheels powder coated black, installed a new battery, new starter, new rear wheel air shocks, replaced all the seals in the drive train, freshly rebuilt carburetor, replaced the rear main seal, it was tuned up, and all fresh fluids & filters, and much more, (parts & labor was $3,995) I've got around $10,000 into restoring this vintage 86 Goldwing, with all of the receipts to prove it (my loss-your gain). Next year it will be 30 years old, and it looks an runs like new!!! November 15th it will be going into storage until Spring time, so I'm giving this one more shot' to find a New Owner, for this 86 Honda Goldwing. Before It gets parked for the Winter. I have two motorcycle's, and it was a hard choice, but I decided to let this one go. If it doesn't sell this time around, and I have to relist it next Spring, the price will be going up! Now's the time to Wheel & Deal, I'm asking $3,500.00 or Best Reasonable Offer. I've checked out the weather forecast for the first 4 days in November for my home town of Grand Rapids, Michigan, and it's going to be in the upper 60's low 70's, so it would still be possible to ride this 86 Goldwing, back to your home town, before Winter hits us.
