Hi, Well I have this Audi A-6 for sale. It is in need of some repair. The timing chain tensioner on the passenger side bank had failed. This had done damage to the valves on this head. I did hear the engine run and pulled it in the shop with the drivers side bank. Engine was quite and had no bottom end noise. I bought this car for a project to fix myself, but as time would have it I ran out of time. With my house restore and all the other projects I have right now, I just do not have the time to finish it. I did have the head redone, new valves guides and seals. Also had it checked for cracks. There is a new head gasket and tensioners for both sides. Plus I bought the tools to do the repair. So I am going to sell the car one of two ways. 1st option is if someone has a engine for the car I will let it go for $2,600.00 . That was my cost minus tax and tow fees. 2 nd way, If someone would like to continue the repair I will sell it with all the new parts, The rebuilt head, tensioners, tools and gaskets. I have $1,200.00 and some change into these items. I would let them go for $900.00 making the total price 3,500.00 for everything... The car is in pretty good shape, well worth 2.5k and the time to repair it. It has lots of stuff as most of these cars do. One other thing, I do not know if it is the base sedan.
