I am the third owner of this Olds. I purchased this car from the grandson of the original owner, the grandfather had bought the car new. It has always been garaged and was purchased in Greenville, TN and then has been owned by me here in Florida since March 2009. The car is in beautiful original condition. The paint and all is the factory applied color and still shines very nice as you can see. I have the original build sheet for the car too. The original leather bound car manual and papers showing the original owners name and details. The original spare and jack are in the car and have never been used. The car starts, runs and drives perfect. I would not hesitate to drive this car cross country. I would keep this car if I had a place to store it, the car is too nice to leave outdoors and get baked in the Florida sun. This car had nearly every available option ordered on it back in 1988. The cars options are: roadster top, PS, PL with the option of the doors locking automatically when it is put into drive, PW, P-8way seats with power thigh and lumbar adjustments and power recliners for both the driver and passenger seats, power moon roof, ABS power brakes, auto light sentinel, automatic dimming rear view mirror, power left and right outside mirrors, automatic rear load leveler, Bose AMFM stereo with separate cassette player and graphic equalizer and power rear antenna, power trunk with power trunk closure, power gas cap door, climate control, driver computer information center, pull up slightly on the door handles and the interior lights and door locks light up at night, cruise control and separate driving lights. I recently had the cam sensor replaced for $380.00. which seems to be typical when the 3.8s get some age and mileage on them, $1800.00 for new AC compressor, other AC components and conversion to R134, it will freeze you out of the car. New headliner which matches and looks perfect. Newer tires and front brakes. I have spent money on the car in the 6 years I have owned it and have all of the those receipts as proof of work that's been done. I have always had the oil and fluids changed and the brakes flushed as recommended. The items that need attention are as follows: the heater core dripped early on when I first got the car I by passed it and never fixed it due to the weather here in Florida, the auto dimming rear view mirror does not work, I have seen them on here for $60.00, the plastic head light covers came off the metal inside covers and need to be reattached, I believe they could be epoxied back on ( in the two photos of the front of the car I set them in place ), and the cassette player does not work. This car is really a great car and looks great and people often come up and ask what it is. It is really in remarkable condition and is a very nice car, smaller than a Honda Accord and gets about 20 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. The car is clean and dry underneath and as you can see in the photos the bottom of the doors are as clean and shiny as the top of the car. It has never nor does it have any rust. It still has its great sounding tuned factory dual exhaust system with factory chrome exhaust tips. This car does not have any drips or leaks from the engine or transmission. I have the right to cancel this sale at anytime since the car is for sale locally also. It is the buyers responsibility for shipping the car but I would do my best to accommodate your transport person to make it as simple as possible for you and the carrier you decide on. I don't know why this is happening unless when the car was transferred from the Grandfathers name to the grandson there was some sort of error made on the title and it had to be corrected and a revised corrected duplicate title was ordered. I bought the car with about 64,800 miles on the odometer the title shows as "exempt" which is not unusual for a car over 10 years old. I have no doubt that the mileage was correct and I have repair receipts that show the mileage going up to the present mileage of 93,565 miles.****** I HAVE A CLEAR TITLE FOR THE CAR.*******
