For sale is my 1966 barn fresh Toronado. This is a first year of production model and is equipped with the 425 cubic inch engine and front wheel drive. This model came equipped with one of the first climatrol a/c units GM produced. I inherited it from my dad who purchased it in the late 60's from a friend of his who traded cars every year. It has been garaged kept for all of its life. It has not been run in over 20 years, however when I last drove it, I changed the oil, antifreeze, fogged, and fuel stabilized it before putting it in my metal building. It has never sustained any body damage beyond what is shown in the pictures. There is some rust, but the rockers and floor pans are solid. This is a numbers matching car. Paint, sheet metal, and interior are all original. It has had the valves updated to burn unleaded gas and at the time we did the valves, it had 200 psi compression within 10% on all cylinders. It needs a new exhaust system, battery, and should have the carburetor rebuilt before starting. I have a new master brake cylinder for it. Brake system should be gone through and a/c converted to newer freon. I do have NOS material for fixing the worn area on side of the driver's side seatback. I have an original factory shop manual, glove box manual, and both the spare and an extra tire, both mounted on original equipment wheels. This would be a relatively easy project as all the parts are there-unfortunately I have too many other projects and need the space in my storage building!
