ONLY 29,000 MILES !!! This Car Is Garage Kept And Driven On Special Occasions. A True COLLECTORS DREAM With This Low Of Miles. The Car Runs Great And Gets Great MPG, However On Occasion The Dash Lights Will Come On, But Can Be Reset Easily By Unhooking The Small 12 Volt Battery 1 Minute And Resetting The Computer. We Did Have Hybrid Battery Conditioned And Got A Grid Charger Installed, Since Car Is Not Driven Every Day. This Way The Battery Can Be Maintained Every So Often. Most People Recommend To Grid Charge Either Side Of Once A Month. We Sometimes Do More Often, If The Car Will Be Sitting For A While. You Can Also Cut Off The Master Switch To The Hybrid Battery And Still Drive The Car With No Assist From The Electric Motor, We Were Curious And Tried That For A While And Still Got Almost The Same MPG, But Just Didn't Have As Much Power As It Does With The Electric Assist. If The Dash Lights Do Come On, They Always Reset By Simply Unhooking The Battery Around 1 Minute. We Have Never Had To Take The Car To The Dealer For This Issue. We Have Owned This Vehicle Since 2009 And Just Don't Drive It That Much. Had Owned One Of The 2000 Year Models And Got This One Kind Of Like A Collectors Item. However, Before We Purchased The Vehicle, It Was Involved In An Accident And Had Left Side Damage. ***NO Airbags Were Deployed*** The Hood And Front Bumper Cover Had Some Damage And Were Replaced, As Well As Left Front Fender And Drivers Door Were Replaced. The Left Quarter Panel And Rear Bumper Cover Were Repaired, Rather Than Replaced. Thus The Left Side Of Car Plus Hood And Bumper Covers Have Been Repainted. The Paint Has A Good Shine, But Is Not Perfect. Has A Bit Of Clearcoat Run Or Sag That Could Probably Be Buffed Out If It Was A Concern. There Is Also A Bit Of Dust / Trash In Clearcoat That Could Probably Also Be Buffed Out, Or You Could Always Have Those Panels Repainted If You Wanted Them Perfect. The Car Did Go Through An Insurance Claim, Which Resulted In The Car Getting A Salvage History Title Which Has Been Inspected By The State Of Virginia And Upgraded To A Reconstructed Vehicle That Can Be Titled In Any State As Far As We Know, You May Want To Check Your State Before Bidding To Be 100 % Sure Before Making The Purchase, Wouldn't Want To Buy It If Cannot Register It. This Is Still A Great Low Miles Car That Has Lots Of Life In It. Honda Built These Engines To Last Hundreds Of Thousands Of Miles, So This Car Is Just Getting Started. Would Make A Great Commuter Car. Saves Lots Of Gas. Tires Are OK, But Will Probably Need Replacement Before Too Long Due To Age, More Than The Lack Of Tread. The Tread Is Still Good And Will Continue To Pass State Inspections With No Problem. Wheels Are Not In Great Shape, Especially Right Rear That Is Scuffed, Even Though It Is Not That Noticeable Since The Fender Skirt Covers Most Of It. The Power Windows Have Never Failed To Work, But Sometimes Seem A Bit Slow To Me. Car Is Well Maintained With The Honda Recommended 0W-20 Fully Synthetic Motor Oil And Fresh Filter Change. This Is A 2006 Honda Insight With No Warranty Either Expressed Or Implied. Will Be Sold As Is Condition.
