MERCEDES BENZ 1987 560SL. Very good shape. Engine runs strong, transmission shifts smoothly, steering feels light, but stable. I've never driven another SL so I can't compare how this one handles against another one. The body is in very good condition no dents with the exception of some minor dings on trunk lid I have no idea how they got there, they appear to be from the inside (see picture). The dash has a couple of cracks the seats have no tears in them, the carpet is good. There is a mark behind drivers side seat on the sill (please see picture). Needs a good cleaning and polish and should shine extremely well. New air filter, new engine belts, new window switches, fresh differential lube. I haven't seen any rust anywhere (it's a west coast car). The wheels have some curb rash on them. The previous owner was fanatic about service and I have many, many receipts. I have more pictures available and I will answer questions the best I can. The antilock light comes on every so often I don't know why, never looked into it also I never tried the brakes to see if they were effected when the light was on. I have had the car for a year and have not driven it much, I have two other Mercedes that demand my time, so I'm thinning the herd. For what it's worth Hagerty values a condition 3 (good) car at $21,400 and a condition 4 (fair) at $13,400. This car is becoming more of a collector car quickly. I have priced it fairly. On Oct-20-15 at 12:17:53 PDT, seller added the following information: The top is in perfect condition the windows are clear with no yellowing or cracks. I have a "Dashtopper" for the dash. I also have extra keys and all the manuals.
