Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Auto restoration shop offers this 1967 Ford Bronco. We built this Bronco for off-road fun. We started with a 99% rust free high desert vehicle, did quite a few modifications that will be explained in the add to make an extremely capable mud bogger, snow runner and rock crawler. This truck is street legal (except for absence of mud flaps) in my state, can be driven from trail to trail on back roads. I’ve driven this Bronco on the highway at 70 MPH, not real fun in a stock Bronco let alone a lifted unit like this, but can be done. Handles very well for what it is, but not a daily driving highway cruiser. No Reserve, bid to buy auction. May trade for a radical pro-street type Chevy C10 2wd truck pre-72 or hot rod. 1967 model year is emission exempt in all states other than NV last time I checked, huge plus! Electronic ignition, headers, upgraded 1 ton power steering (80’s parts). The 351C is a performance build (estimated 350-375HP) with a hydraulic no fuss cam, quality internals. Noisy “Pete Jackson” gear drive timing set. New true dual exhaust with glass-packs. Automatic 3 speed C4 transmission with a shift kit, recently rebuilt. Rebuilt Dana 20 transfer case, suspension lift with heavy duty drag-links. New shocks with dual steering stabilizers. The front axle is a high pinion Dana 44 with disc brakes, 513 gears with a locker. The rear axle is the Ford 9 in, new brake components, 513 geared with a locker. So we have full and true 4 wheel positive traction. New gauges, new tach, new B&M shifter. Heater has been re-furbished. Aluminum radiator with electric thermostat actuated fan. Dual fuel tanks. BODY This body was in good shape to begin with, 99% rust free desert truck. We did our award winning Camo paint job. We start with a dark base-coat, then add 4 colors with stencils and air-brush, then apply a heavy clear-coat to protect the paint from UV, bushes, tree rubs, etc. We use PPG automotive paint products. The top/bumpers/grill are a satin white. The flares are satin black; the chassis is semi-gloss POR-15. New door tracks and seals from Bronco Graveyard. Family style roll-cage DOM 1 ¾ with 4 shoulder seat belts. Aftermarket seats, Super Swamper 38 in tires on aluminum wheels. DOM 1 ¾ steel rock rails with steps bars welded to the frame. Basic CD player with speakers. With the gear reduction and transfer case reduction in 4 Low, 1st gear is barely a crawl, perfect for rock crawling. Has enough HP to be a blast in snow and mud, but not too much where it has no low end. Low end TQ on this type of build is what we want, 350-375HP on this type of motor about as far as we can go to retain the snappy low end torque. I held my GPS while driving at 70 MPH, tachometer registers 3000rpm at that speed. I did that to check, cruising speed is 55-60 MPH, but really this Bronco was purpose built to be an off-road monster, we did achieve that, it performs well in all terrain. I have extensive rock crawling experience, this Bronco will do 75% of what my $50,000 rock buggy can do, and exceed the driver skill of 75% of the rock crawler guys I see in the mountains, but still the Bronco can drive from trail to trail, does not have to be trailered like the buggy. I’m sure some Bronco purists are stroking out about seeing a clean body vehicle turned into an off-road truck, especially since early Broncos are worth a pile of money, but ask yourself….How many early Broncos do you see at your local off-road park or wheeling spot? Almost never, sure cool to have this instead of a beat up 80’s Toyota. I hope you are social when driving this beast in the mountains, it’s a redneck’s dream come true, you will hear stories about back in the day all day. Also, I doubt you will ever have to buy your own beer again! J I have a clean clear WA state title in hand, in my name, VIN tag matches title. This is a no-reserve auction, but if the right cash offer or trade comes along, it won’t make it till the end. I release the vehicle and title after funds are cleared in full. I require payment within 3 days ended auction, cash in person, cashiers check in mail, bank to bank wire to my US Bank business account. No PayPal. I USPS the papers directly after cleared payment. I have a shipping broker whom has shipped dozens of vehicles for me without a hitch, I will pass on his info to you, or work with your shipper. eBayers with less than 10 feedback must email me phone # 1st, or be cancelled. 3rd party inspection during not after the auction are welcomed, skip Auto Appraisals & Pre-Buy Inspections when looking in my local phone book, I own that business. Thanks! Hot rod early duff vintage classic 4x4
