2013 BMW R1200 GSA ADVENTURE MOTORCYCLE (EITHER THE UGLIEST OR COOLEST BIKE ANYONE HAS EVER SEEN) This is my second GSA, I love these bikes, after having more motorcycles than I can count in my 50 years of riding this still remains one of my all time favorites. This is, as most all of you know, is the LAST TRUE AIRHEAD. BMW went to water cool assist in 2014. This is also a Triple Black Bike Edition which are fairly rare, and in my opinion the best looking GSA's ever built by BMW. The History: 12/13 The Bike was originally purchased in Albuquerque New Mexico At Sandia BMW for $21,240, cases were added for $1886. 01/14 The Original Owner had the 600 mile service performed by Sandia BMW and 2" Rox Risers were installed. $315. Bike had 565 miles At some point the Moose Racing Tail Bag was introduced. By the way I really like this Tail bag much better than a BMW trunk, if you don't need a passenger. The original owner took the bike on a trip, he told me it had never been off road at that point, he decided to sell bike. 08/14 I flew to Albuquerque to take delivery of bike from original owner for $17,000, purchased BMW Tank Bag for $336. Sandia performed the 6000 mile service and inspection of motorcycle at the time I purchased Motorcycle $601. I rode the bike back to Kansas via Colorado and made it thru some mountain fire roads, please note: The motorcycle went off roading at this time!!!! While in my care: 09/14 I mounted the Garmin Zumo. It is hard wired. I believe I still have the box for the Garmin. I updated the maps at this point for Central America. Installed the Tank Guards $125 Installed Saddlemen Heated Seat $350 04/15 Replaced original Tires with Conti TKC's (TwinDuro) $388 bike had 7783 miles (These tires have 886 miles on them now) I took a small trip to Colorado. We trailered motorcycles to avoid 100 plus degree riding across western Kansas and Eastern Colorado. Road South Central Colorado and explored some mild back country. This is an unbelievably great bike for this type of riding. Total miles on this trip for bike 387. 0815 BMW of OKC performed complete service and inspection of bike @ 8507 miles. Recap Extra's: BMW Side Cases Moose Racing Tail Bag Garmin GPS Navigation Tank Guards (don't really guard much, but sure look cool) Friction Throttle control (Throttlelock) This thing works excellent 2" Rox Risers BMW Tank Bag Saddlemen Heated Solo Seat TKC Tires Fully Serviced and ready to ride home. This Bike needs nothing. I have all original paperwork and receipts for everything or almost everything. There you have it. Up for your consideration is a GSA that you would be hard pressed to find a nicer one. Mileage may change slightly between now and auction end.
