This car was purchased in 2003 as a Certified-Pre-Owned vehicle from a Mercedes dealer in Bethesda, MD. I got it with 14,000 miles on it. It's been driven well for the past 12 years, mostly commuting from the North Shore of Massachusetts to Boston. The car has always been garaged. The car has been serviced by Smith Motors of Haverhill, MA through its extended warranty period (100K miles) and then by Mike at M&J Foreign Motors in Rowley, MA. It runs great. Over the years, the alternator has been replaced, both catalytic converters replaced (under warranty), and two battery replacements. Yes, 256K miles, but I have no reason to believe it wont do another 200K miles. There are only a few minor paint chip/dings, and a few areas of rust (on the rear quarter panels, circular in nature, perhaps 3 inches in diameter on the largest). Over the years, all scheduled maintenance has been performed. We've purchased a second home in Maine, bought a Subaru to insure easy travel there, and now this car (sadly) is not driven as much as I'd like. Hence, this auction.
