Vehicle Detail
Hi Folks...Up for Auction is my 2000 Ford Excursion Limited 4X4 with 70,855 original miles....I am the second owner of this little SUV :-) ......After enjoying having a vehicle that can sustain any weather conditions, my wife has convinced me to purchase a Tahoe, something she is more comfortable driving herself....as much as I hate to see her go (the Excursion) lol, gotta keep the Mrs. happy....About the truck itself, it is powered by Fords 6.8l Triton V10....a very powerful and reliable motor....I realize most of you would prefer the 7.3 diesel....totally agree, but something to think about....This truck starts easily every time even in subzero temps without having to plug her in....she also uses 87 octane gas which is cheaper than diesel....She also has less than half the mileage and is half the price of most of other diesel Excursions....This truck is equipped with P.S., P.B., Tilt, Cruise, P.W., P.Dl., Front and Rear Ice Cold A/C, AM/FM/CD Stereo, Power Leather Seats, Center Console, Third Row Seating. Everything, including gauges and lights work as they should....The interior is in Excellent Shape with no cracks, no tears, no smells....The drivers seat does have some wear on the left bolster from getting in and out which you can see in the pics....Mechanically, this truck is in Excellent shape...Motor runs smooth with a Brand New exhaust system including exhaust manifolds, Tranny shifts smooth every time, and drive train including 4X4 works as it should....This truck tracks straight down the road and handles well unlike most lifted trucks....Brakes, Tires, Shocks, etc. All Good....The Undercarriage does show surface rust....Please see pics.....Rather than covering it with black spray paint, I am showing it the way it is so not to hide anything....My body shop friends recommend sand blasting the undercarriage and undercoating it....I will leave that to the next owner.....Also there is a ding in the right side of the front bumper (see pics)....Overall, this truck is in Very Good Condition and is Turn Key....I have tried listing everything there is to know about this truck so there are no surprises and no disappointments...As Always, I encourage All of you to do your homework....Come Look. Feel, Drive, and Schmell for yourself.....Check Carfax and AutoCheck to confirm my details....Just a few housekeeping details....If You are an International Bidder, you won't be able to bid unless you have someone here in the States to handle your transaction....I do not get involved in exporting....Please, Please, Please have all your finances in check before you bid....A lot of time and money is wasted if you don't.....If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me....I will answer ASAP.....Good Luck and Happy Bidding to All......Patrick <><
