Vehicle Detail
1964 MERCURY PARK LANE SEDAN, 25TH ANNIVERSARY MODEL, ORIGINAL OWNERS The Mercury Park Lane was the top of the line for Mercury with its revolutionary “Breezeway” rear window that retracts into the body. This model is what a luxury turnpike cruiser was all about. The Mercury was significantly more luxurious and highly optioned than its Ford cousin. Comfort, power, size, ride, and luxury is what Mercury projected in this stylish automobile, loaded with accessories and chrome. This car has resided in the Pacific Northwest, has no rust on the body or the frame, drives easily, and is in good condition. The exterior color is two-tone white over turquoise. The turquoise interior is all original. The motor is strong, dependable, and has been well maintained. It has been tuned up and has a fresh oil and filter change. Records are available to document care over the years. This is an accident-free, one family car. Of note: the speedy and sure-footed 1964 Mercury won the Pike’s Peak challenge that year!
