Up for NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful, original 1984 Eldorado Biarritz Convertible, Cadillac sanctioned ASC conversion. The car has only been owned by two serious collectors. It had 90% original paint when I purchased it. I paint metered the lids to prove originality (pics). Due to the common fading of those areas, I had the hood and trunk lids refinished. Absolutely no body work was done. The match is perfect. The car is in excellent condition. It was seriously maintained by collectors who knew how to maintain this car. I have the complete service history from 1987 to 2015. The maintenance records receipts total over $21,000. All the proper service was performed including upgrading the camshaft, bearings, pulley and head gasket as recommended by Cadillac Motor Car Division. In addition, the radiator was flushed twice yearly and the proper mix of 50/50 distilled water/antifreeze was used along with the GM pellets. Oil and filter was also changed very often. The engine has absolutely no noises even from cold. Don't let the mileage fool you. This was a properly maintained car by collectors from day one. The car has ZERO rust and runs perfectly. BODY The body is in excellent condition with a few door dings. The chrome is excellent along with the Biarritz moldings in excellent condition. The car has NO rust. TOP The top is in excellent condition with no rips or tears or fading INTERIOR The interior is in excellent condition. The original white leather seats are near perfect. The head liner is excellent as is the dash, rugs, door panels, etc. ENGINE The engine runs smoothly with NO noises whatsoever. The engine compartment is original in excellent condition with absolutely NO RUST. The engine compartment was NOT painted. The camshaft, bearings, gaskets and pulley were upgraded as recommended by Cadillac Motor Car Division and the transmission was rebuilt at approximately 75k miles at a cost of over $5k. The work was done by CLASSIC CADILLAC in Atlanta, Georgia. TRUNK The trunk compartment is in excellent original condition with the trunk rubber showing the original water mark. All the original pieces are present including the soft, red boot. DOCUMENTATION Complete original service records from 1987 to 2015 including the original Cadillac Mileage Statement from new. All original owner's manuals are present. AC AC works perfectly and was converted to R134 OPTIONS This Biarritz is highly optioned including Original Spoke Wheel Covers This is a NO RESERVE auction.
