Testing the waters with this 1979 F250. I picked it up for the box, threw a stake bed on it, and ready to send it to a new home.This is a 36 year old truck, that being said it has its fair share of issues.Was originally a 2wd truck, someone before me put a dana 44 (with 8 lug spindles)coil sprung front end on it. 4x4 works great, has warn premium hubs.Motor is a 460, supposedly from a 83 motorhome with 30k miles.Tranny is a c6 that's seen its better days, slips in second a bit. 1st and 3rd are fine.I drive it to work occasionally(35 minutes each way), never left me stranded, just sucks a lot of gas, drips some oil.Its got a real nice set of 35 inch bfg's and aluminum wheels.Bodys pretty clean, pretty sure its original paint.Brush Guard is not included.Not to much rust. Kinda bad around the passenger side rear window, the rest of the truck isnt bad, floors are solid, little bit of surface rust on fenders, mainly sun fade..Brush Guard is not included.Would recommend it be towed.
