Prior to its official launch at Frankfurt, three aluminum-bodied prototypes were entered at Le Mans. As a result, the MGA was launched with a solid competition pedigree, ensuring its acceptance in the market and the United States in particular, where the bulk of production was destined. Finished in Red paintwork over a Black trimmed cabin, the MGA 1600 offered here is quite an original Roadster other than older paintwork, and present nicely as a “driver”. An ideal example to use as is, or a suitable base to perform light cosmetics on and bring to the next level! The MG starts with ease and performs appropriately. Accessories include all weather equipment with additional full tonneau cover, Smiths heater, wind wings, luggage rack, workshop manual and vintage white walls mounted on painted steel wheels with chrome beauty rings and hubcaps.
