Vehicle Detail
Selling a 1972 442, This car has a lot of good left in it. The factory 14" X 7" SS 2 wheels are in good shape. The frame is solid, no rust, and straight. the front fenders are in good shape with only minor rust. the doors are solid, no rust. the interior needs to be restored, but it is all there and has a good set of bucket seats, nice black console, no cracks. The black dash is very nice too, no cracks at all. the factory sport mirrors are still in place. the factory sway bar, with box control arms is still in place. the rear bumper is a straight, solid core, and is factory notched for duel exhaust. The engine is a 455, and has E heads. ( from a 1970 Olds ) the intake is gone, and the drivers side head has been unbolted. the transmission is a TH 400 I believe. this was a 350 4bbl car from the factory, with factory duel exhaust. This car has factory disk brakes. So here is the bad part. Has rust in the following areas due to a leaking windshield, front inner roof structure, metal dash at base of windshield, and floors. The lower quarters, and lower front fenders, ( very typical ) The trunk has one small spot that has rusted through. The only rust I would consider hard to fix is the front roof structure, and dash, the rest is minor, and very typical for a Texas car with a leaking windshield. Some would say it is just a good parts car, and that may be true in this case, but I hate to think it. I have a clear Texas title for this car. Someone please save this one.
