Vehicle Detail

1968 Chevrolet C10 Great Shop Truck or Hot Rod Truck!!! ***Added more pictures to show how nice this cab is!*** You will not find a cleaner original paint truck that has not been hacked up then this truck! This would be the perfect hot rod parts hauler/shop truck. Just imagine with a nice 5.3 and overdrive auto it would be the perfect cruiser. Or drive it as is with a little work this could be a nice daily driver. I've been driving it off and on and it's fun!The cab is SOLID. The Rockers are good there are a few small spots but nothing that would make me want to replace the entire rocker, Cab Corners are perfect, Body mounts are good. The only area that needs attention is a very small section of the cowl and the lip of the firewall. Both very easy fixes. Doors are awesome, some dings but NO RUST not even starting! The front sheet metal is all factory. I bought some original fenders out in California to replace the originals. NOT new reproductions these are factory GM pieces. The front end of the truck is SOLID. No Rust Anywhere on the fenders, hood, or radiator support. The battery tray is even nice! You've got to see it to believe it! The only thing I would replace are the inner fender liners because they are not nice after trying to get the original fenders off.The bed is a work truck bed, no rust but it does have its dents and dings. The truck has had recent brakes on all four corners, with a disc brake swap done on the front end (keeping the 6 lug front). CPP Lowering spindles, front/rear lowering springs, rear shock relocators, and their deluxe panhard bar. I used KYB shocks instead of the cheap ones that CPP sells. The truck drives well! The truck rides on new 15x7 front and 15x10 Wheel Vintiques Camaro Style Rally wheels with small hub caps and new tires all around. All of this may have 50 Miles on them. The truck currently has the stock 307 and a granny low SM420 4 Speed. Runs decently, carb needs to be gone through to get it just right, shifts well and runs 60-65 mph. The rear axle is geared pretty low so higher speeds could be attained with a gear change. Fuel system has been replaced and the tank was cleaned out. It's ready to go!The interior is bone stock except for the seat which was something I grabbed out of my '63 C10. Its surprisingly comfortable. Gauges and lights all work It actually has real gauges and not idiot lights! Steering Column was inspected and a new turn signal switch was installed so you should have years of trouble free service. All wiring is original but in great shape. No hacking AT ALL! All lights work as they should, LED brake lights and H4 Bulb headlights with relays really make a huge difference at night being able to be seen. The only real downside to the truck is the exhaust, it's a hodgepodge of booger welds and doesn't even seal up. Otherwise it drives straight down the road, rides well, and is clean original paint good old truck!I do have the front marker lamps they are new in the box with fasteners.I hate to sell it but I have too many toys and I am tempted to sink more time and money into this good old truck. If you have ANY questions please ask them before the end of the auction. This auction is for BUYING the truck. Not your chance to look at the truck to see if you want it. I can meet anyone who wants to see the truck from 6am till 9PM EVERY DAY. Please ask questions I will be happy to get pictures of anything you want. Clean title in my name and YES the title matches the VIN! Check the truck out, make a bid, If the buy it now is used I will through in some new in box hooker headers, a straight tailgate, and a short wheel base frame that has been acid washed and ready to be built. I also have some other 67-72 C10 parts that go with. You'll love your new Hot Rod Truck! Payment: $500 Deposit due at end of auction the balance to be paid in cash, postal money order, or via paypal within 7 days of the end of the auction. Shipping: I will not ship the truck.
