Vehicle Detail
This is a fantastic classic 1970 Ford F250 Pickup Truck!!! This truck is a BEAST!!! It starts and runs great, nothing can stop this truck. I'm including a lot of pictures, but I will also describe it the best I can... It has the 240 cid engine, the best engine Ford ever built. (my opinion!) It has a 4 speed manual transmission. It does not have power steering so you better have muscles to drive this truck. The steering is tight, no play. This truck passed the Missouri safety inspection in August of last year, and hasn't been drove much since so all should still be good. Horn works, all lights work, heater works, windows roll up and down fine, brakes are good, could use tires. It has the original AM radio but it does not work, I tried replacing the fuse but it did not work, so it must be a problem with the radio itself. The horn was taken off the steering wheel at some point and put on the dash next to the lighter. (see pic) The interior is in good shape, there's one crack in the dash. The bench seat does have some tears, but I put a seatcover on it. The floorboards are in good shape, not rusted through. (see pics) Someone glued down carpet which probably protected them. The heater blower switch works great, but the slide temperature control does not work, so it always blows hot air when the blower switch is on. Ok, as far as the body... someone did some work to it, not professional but it looks good. All the lights work, the driver side rear marker is broken but the bulb lights up (see pic) The tailgate opens and closes with no problem. The floor of the bed is rusted through in a few spots. I put a bed liner in it. There is a little wiggle between the cab and bed but not serious. The windshield is near perfect. Wipers work great. The battery is only 2 years old and I replaced the coil. This motor does have the pulley for power steering, so it can be added if you can find the parts. Ok other things... I have the original owners manual and the original owners paperwork including the registered key chain from the bank he got the loan from to buy the truck brand new! So cool! I'm sure I've forgot some things, but you can ask me any questions anytime and I will respond ASAP. I bought this truck 2 years ago because I wanted to make it a show truck, but sadly I am never going to do it, I just don't have the time, it's been sitting in my driveway. I really hope someone buys it and restores it, or at least drives it and scares some Chevys with it! Ha! Thank for looking! Please contact me with questions. THIS REALLY IS A GREAT CLASSIC FORD TRUCK. I REALLY HOPE SOMEONE WILL GIVE IT A GOOD HOME. I HATE SEEING IT SITTING IN MY DRIVEWAY GOING TO HELL.
