I had been looking for a VERY NICE Phaeton for 3 years...it was my dream car. I finaly found one that I had done research on at a auction in Las vegas). It has 58,000 miles and had FENDER damage. The car was orig purchased in LA and lived in Las vegas. It belonged to a high ranking officer in the airforce (so I knew it has the best of care). I am an old man that has owned ever car a man dreams of. At 72 this was to be my last car. It had everything I wanted. It was silver (to me the best color for a Phaeton, it had low miles, and it was loaded with equiptment. The main damage was the right fender. I purchased another car that was the same color and removed the fender and a few other small parts and I did the work myself to make sure it was done RIGHT...that each bolt had the right touque. I finished it in 2 days...then I was sent to the hospital for open heart surgery. I was not able to drive the car for 60 days. Each time I drove it I loved it more...each week I found a new toy built within the car. I LOVE this car and would mhave kept it....however a oppertunity came up to buy a 2004 with 18,000 original miles. It was not the color I loved but a NEWISH 2004 Phaeton, I could not turn it down. Now I have the silver Phaeton up for sale. It now has 78,000 miles. It has been VERY well cared for. I am amazed that the driver seat (the one that shows the most wear in all cars) has no cracks. Phaeton mus use the greates leather made....in fact I like the looks of the leather in this car vs my car with 22,000 miles. My new car does not have the shine and softness of the car I am offering. I have had the new car for about a year. It has took this long for me to have the guts to put it up for sale. I still love this car. I prefer it over the new one....but I know i must keep the new one and sell the 78,000 mile car. This is not a car for those that think they can get a real nice Phaeton for pennies. There are a few of those on the market (beware of cheap Phaetons) and they are not the same as a loaded car that has been well cared for. This is REALLY a nice Phaeton that runs and drives as the makers wanted it to be. This Phaeton sounds differant than my new one...when you step on the gas you get a wonunderful quite V8 GROWL that new ones do not (it is NOT LOUD....just enough for you to hear it.....you cannot hear it at all while cruzeing). This car is loaded...if you know about these cars....it has everything that was available for the exception of the 4 seat option. I do not know of anything the car does not have. This car is worth so much more than your average Phaeton. To list all the options would take a long list (however I will probably show the list that I was able to get from Phaeton (I sent them the vin number and I was given the complete list that was a few pages. This is a PHAETON that you would be proud to own. You can ship the car or come to pick it up and drive it home (man what a car to have a ROAD TRIP IN). The only problem with a PHaeton....it is a car to fall in love with...OH...I have the ability to lower the car for you (the same highth as the Europen ones if you like) and will do it free of charge. Also the windows have been tinted with NANO CERAMIC tint.....event the windshield (the winshield is not dark...Nano ceramic tint keeps the heat out. If you do not want the winshield tinted it is easy to remove. I HAVE GOOD CONTACTS FOR RELIABLE INCLOSED OR OPEN SHIPPING AT A GOOD PRICE
