Vehicle Detail
I have owned the car for the last 20 years. The car has 74,504 miles. As far as we know the car is all original. There is an aftermarket stereo installed in the car. When we purchased the car there was a radio in the trunk and believe it to be the original, but not for sure. It is a AM/FM Cassette player. It also had new dual exhaust, mufflers, and catalytic converter on when we purchased it which is still in good condition. Overall for a 30 year old car (Antique) the car is in good solid decent condition. It does have a few scratches, dings and dents, but they are minor. There is one spot of rust over the drivers side rear window. Please see pictures. The interior is in good condition. The seats have no tears or rips. The headliner does not sag. The top of the console cover needs to be repaired or replaced and there is a few cracks in the dash. See pictures. The motor starts and runs and the car is drivable. Does smoke a little sometimes. The transmission works and shifts good. The transmission is a 3 speed with overdrive. All glass is good. No cracks. Tires hold air, but have weather cracks. The rubber molding on bumper on car (holding in picture) just needs to be replaced. Car has original jack and spare. We bought the car as you see it in the pictures. AC needs to be recharged. In 2003 the only repairs I had done on the car was the replacement of AC compressor and filter, flushed out the radiator and put new GM hoses on. Replaced water pump and antifreeze. We had the alternator changed out. There has been a complete new brake job front and rear. All of these repairs were made at the Dealership. The car has been stored in a carport with a cover on it. This car just needs some TLC and would be an excellent candidate for someone who likes very popular SS's. Has not been tagged since 2001. If you win the bid, a $300.00 payment to hold the car is expected to be made thru PayPal within 48 hours. The car must be picked up within 7 days. The balance is due in cash when the car is picked up unless you have made other arrangements with us. All questions are welcomed.
