1941 Ford Other Pickups

Listed again is due to no payment is a 41 Ford 1 ton express pickup. This is a rare and unique pickup. I can not find any production numbers on the one ton, but everything I can find says that few were made and most of them were ran into the ground and scrapped years ago. The pickup was last ran in 1953 but it retains it's original drive train. There is the usual rust on the cab corners, and the drivers door, but that is it for the most part. The box was removed and scrapped years ago and was replaced with a wooden homemade flatbed. The grill is also gone. The doors are both rusted shut but the hinges are on the outside and getting them open probably would not be a big deal. The original keys are still in the ignition. The man I bought it from's dad bought the pickup in 1946 drove it till 1953 and was parked. The pickup was moved one more time in 1957 and that is where it sat till I picked it up back in June. The last three pictures were where the pickup sat for all those years. The tree laying in front of the bumper had grown up between the grill and the bumper. All the wheels turn freely and are not stuck. I do have the original title from 1946, it is in the fathers name and is signed by the son as personal representative However I do not have any paperwork saying he is the personal rep. This pickup would make an awesome rat rod project, or given the rarity, a full restoration project. Either way there is a good chance that it will be the only one at whatever car show you are at.
