Vehicle Detail

This listing is for a great fixer-upper, a 1990 F-150 with the good old Inline 6 motor and Mazda M5OD transmission...It Needs some TLC as shown in pictures. It needs a master and slave cylinder and, possibly, a clutch, as it was starting to slip. Someone put power steering fluid in clutch reservoir and it ruined the seals. The motor runs great and has LOTS of balls. It could use tires, a few of the rims are mis matching but for the buy it now price I will include matching rims and two brand new (1000 or less miles) tires that are on a 1992 F-150 sitting in my driveway. There is SOME rust, a little rot, but nothing that makes it unsafe at this time. The most obvious spot is between drivers side floor and rocker panel. As with all M50D manual transmissions, the freeze plugs failed and fluid does leak a bit. I always got under the truck every few months and added fluid. If you decide to replace clutch, a perfect time to replace seals. Only cost $10.It has a new starter, battery is good. I have replaced air filter, spark plugs and wires recently, cleaned throttle body numerous times, and the like. I have always used the genuine MotorCraft oil filter for oil changes. Winner of this truck receives free oil change prior to shipment or pickup! Last year, the rear U-joint on axle was replaced. The rear-diff fluid was drained and replaced in 2013, as well. During the past few years the Throttle Position Sensor was replaced (what a difference), transmission was drained, filled refilled (the Mazda M50D takes ATF!) with Seafoam Transtune...drained again and replaced with 20 percent Lucas Transmission Fix (more preventative and certainly helped shifting). The E-Brake does work, but sometimes slips before finally catching and staying for good). This needs attention. Also, the dash lights do not work (I can fix this for you as it happened once three years ago).Finall, yyy, the windshield wipers only work on one speed (the high one!) We can attempt to fix this if you would like, it never bothered me or previous owner. This originally belonged to a friend who purchased from original owner. I saw original paperwork from 1991, an old title with 8 Miles listed! I purchased it, he sold it, and then repurchsaed it. I had been borrowing it since March, so it was given to me (once again) and put in my name. It was used as a fleet car for catering...so it has been under the care of the same people and mechanic (generally) it's whole life. I have driven this truck fast (when needed) and it has done fine. It includes a ton of extra parts as we were planning on "restoring" (to the best of our ability) the truck, but simply ran out of steam and desire. I will include as many photos as possible, including the extra parts and misc things we purchased for the truck. Again, this motor runs awesome and has a LOT of guts driving down the road. I will also take more photos tomorrow, during daylight hours. I think this is either A: A perfect parts vehicle...or a handy person could fix it up and use it for a long time, or flip it.People love these trucks, myself included. However, I do not need to own two. Looking to find the right home for this baby as she still has life left in her. It is a 5 digit odomotor, but I do promise it only has specified miles. It was purchased brand new by the company in 1990, I may still have that original paperwork somewhere. It does need window cranks, and there is a stripped screw on drivers side window handle holder. Also, sometimes the window falls off the track. I believe this is due to worn weather stripping. The carpet has been ripped out because it was wet, soggy, and I didn't want to ruin the floor (also have a mold allergy!) Sold as is but I have a lot of confidence in this truck. I have driven it 5 or 6 hours to go skiing or help friends move from college without thinking twice. The paint shines up nice when washed, compounded and waxed. There are some missing flakes of paint. It is not factory paint...I can go and see the person who painted the truck and ask for some extra paint and include it (assuming he still has it). Front right fender has dent. Back bumper is bent a bit on back left but solid. Extra items include: Heavy duty chassi paint3 Cans truck bed liner1 Can Under sprayOriginal Spare Tire Jack1 Can Bondo Professional Gold Filler with Spreaders and Activating CreamNew hose to go from slave to master cylinder, 1 Maser Cylinder Bleeder KitFuel filter, fuel filter adapter tool, New arm rests, new gear oil for rear differential, Code Scanner and reader for Ford OBD 1 (not pictured), New body trim clips for doors, original Ford Radio (although winner is welcome to keep one year old Sony CD Player/Radio/Aux/USB in there...however the CD player does not work. And one well worn but useable Hanes Manual!
