The truck was owned by a race car shop, it towed a 2 car trailer to races on weekends and that was it. So up until about 180,000 miles it was all highway and light towing. I have driven the truck across the country 3 times, and across town 3 days a week for about a year. Never given me any issues except alternator going. Truck drives awesome down the road, sounds great, even better on the highway. 2300 rpms at about 78 mph. Transmission is tuned for towing, so shifts like glass with a load, a little firm when empty but not very noticeable. NO RESERVE. The KBB is 15000, with all the longevity mods and how meticulously this has been maintained it is well worth that atleast. I change oil every 4000 miles and use Rev X. The Blacked out chrome is plasti dip. It can be pealed off and brought back to chrome easily. The crack on the bed side is common for duallys, doesn’t bother me but can easily be fixed. The exhaust brake doesn’t work do to a loose wire somewhere, I havnt taken the time to search for it. The front seats have rips and tears on seat bottom. Steering has a little bit of play but not to bad. 2 door dings. All in all for 14 year old truck it’s in nice shape. Mechanically perfect never seen such a clean 7.3. Autos always freak me out but suncoast is the best aftermarket builder in the country so no worries there. Coolant filter system, new turbo etc. Truck is good to go for a long time and a blast to drive. I also have a matching Leer cap, carpeted 2 locks all windows slide very nice.
