Vehicle Detail

2005 Toyota Tundra Limited. 4.7l V8. Five-speed automatic trans. Has factory fog lights, OEM alarm, six-way leather-captains chairs and center console. I don't know all the features of the Limited over the SR5 but I know it has ten spoke-OEM 17"-alloy wheels, a limited-slip or positive traction-rear end, high clearance, skid plate, tow hitch, power-sliding rear window, locking tailgate, and OEM flaired fenders. The step rails may or may not be OEM - I wouldn't put them on myself but at 61 YO I am beginning to appreciate the little things. It appears to have no accidents or problems. The fob does not work reliably but not having one with my prior T-100 I've frankly gotten by without using it. Some of the pix have the cab-high SnugTop shell on, others off as someone from work needed help moving. There is a Bedrug padded bed liner installed. The shell has a factory-installed headliner and working vent windows, and the gas shocks hold the rear door open on their own. Things I had done to it lately or not long ago: 17k miles on Michelin tires, OEM brake shoes up front and cryo-treated rotors (not as grippy as OEM but don't warp as readily), full hoses, OEM timing-belt kit and water pump, rebuilt starter, wheel bearings on all four corners, fresh trans and rear-end oil. Battery and wipers are one year old. The oil is changed every tire rotation (5k miles) with semi synthetic and Purolator filter. The driver's seat has a sheepskin cover; this was something my son was throwing out - there is no need for it other than to add comfort in the summer heat; it is NOT on to cover up any damage as the leather is in good condition underneath. It is my daily driver, and sometimes used to camp/travel to see my sons in other states. This was the pickup my wife wanted me to have; she passed away suddenly from cancer. I just proposed to another widow, and she has a new pickup that she likes, so having two pickups makes little sense; I also have a sedan which I'd like to keep. If it does not sell I am not concerned as my previous T-100 had reached 300k miles before being sold, just because I could. This one rides a little higher, slightly smoother, quieter, and does not shift as much on hills or inclines. Gas mileage is usually 17-19 MPG depending upon frequency of stops when traveling. I can deliver it to the buyer or somewhere in between for gasoline and airline money.
