1972 Volkswagen Super Beetle Convertible (Karman) Black exterior, Black interior 4 cyl, 2 door This is a beautiful car in excellent shape. The car is clean and in great shape throughout. Convertible top is from a high end supplier and in perfect shape. Tires only have about 5K miles. New brake master cylinder, front brakes and carburetor professionally adjusted. Car has been babied and is garage keep only driven a few times a year on good weather days. Mileage 129K. Car runs, drives and handles great, turns heads where ever it is driven. Serious inquires ONLY. Questions Q - Hi,that car have the original paint? Or was repainted, always has been black? Thanks! - cerrogordo5 A - It is not the original paint but believe it has always been black. No indications it was ever another color. The normal areas like door and hood jams give no indication of another color. There are a few small chips from normal road stuff. I use a quality paint pen to maintain. ================= Q - Does your car have a boot for the top? - fastrack194 A - Sorry it does not. Has an excellent top made of heavy material, no rips or tears at all. Never agreed with the necessity of a boot for the top. ================= Q - Hi send me pics from floorpans, and the hood without the carpet or post more pics,thanks - cerrogordo5 A - I have uploaded pictures of the under carriage of the car. Now that I look closer I believe the pans were replaced by the previous owner, they look to good inside and out to not have been. There are of course a couple of areas caused by road debris. I have used a specific paint repair pen to keep those areas from rusting. There are a couple of areas that the simple chrome trim has damaged. ================= Q - Any other pics of the bug?
