I have owned this 1947 civilian Willys jeep since I was in high school in the early 70s. Almost all of the work was done then. I last licensed it in 1990. I have not driven it since about 1995. It has a new battery and the engine is free and turns over with spark. I am still trying to start it. There is also a problem with the clutch which I am also trying to diagnose and fix. The work I did back in the 70s was pre Internet and most of the replacement parts are from the Sears Jeep Catalog. The body work on the front is all original parts. The frame is in very good shape. The windshield is from a later model Jeep. The tub is a fiberglass replacement with the original dashboard added. I am selling it because we are moving and I do not have room to store it. It can be seen in Sault Sainte Marie, MI.
