1955 model Classic Chevrolet Pickup 3200 Custom Cab with the Panoramic front and back windows. This is an original numbers matching pickup truck which was manufactured in late 1955 at the "Oakland Chevrolet Factory." It was the 18,522nd truck off the line of that year. It was purchased "new" in 1956 at Waterville Chevrolet, Waterville, Washington, by C & J Market. This truck was used exclusively by C & J for delivering groceries around town to its customers. This truck was a "Barn Find" in 1990, having been sheltered for many years in a storage shed behind the closed C & J Market, in Waterville. It had 28,600 miles on the odometer at the time it was taken out of service. The low mileage, 34,000 miles truck has been totally refurbished in every aspect, having been re-painted in 1992, to its original factory Red/Bombay Ivory paint code. The cab interior retains its India Beige factory applied paint. The wooden bed is all original, with the wood having been refinished. The rubber floor mat has been replaced, and the seat was re-covered in its original optional seat covers. The truck still has its original windshield and factory spiral shock absorbers. It has retained its original accelerator, brake, and clutch petals showing very little wear. The engine compartment retains its original factory applied paint, even with original assembly markings on the firewall. This truck has its original owners manual and tool kit. There is 34,836 actual miles (Original Motor) with only one (1) custom professional re-paint job. The motor is a 235ci 6 cylinder with a three speed transmission and shift on the steering column. This truck is show quality and extra clean both inside and out. This is a solid truck with absolutely no rust or dents anywhere on the truck.
