Very solid, straight & strong running truck. 63,000 original miles from Lone Pine, CA. The only rust is a very light surface rust inside the wheel wells...more of a patina than "rust". No scaling, not rot, no holes (see underside pix). Slight lift with 10.5" x 33" BFG Mud Terrain tires suits the truck very nicely. With the moderate lift and narrower tires it appears the truck would have (and should have) been sold this way new. Truck has been upgraded with the NV4500 transmission and NP205 transfer case. It cruises VERY nicely on the highway. 5th gear at 70MPH = approximately 2,500 RPMs. Runs strong and cool. Tires are new and just gave the truck a full tune up including plugs, wires, points, condensor, fuel filter, radiator flush, air filter and oil change. AC works, but has a leak and needs a re-charge each year. Seats and dash are tear and crack free. This truck is a 9 out of 10 and it has not been restored. Other than a respray of the exterior a decade ago, the body is in original and amazing condition. Fuel tank and wiring are all original and in great condition. Trucks this cool and in such sound condition are a rare breed. I love this truck, but need to make room for another classic 4x4 that I'm willing to drive year round.
