Vehicle Detail

Unfortunately, with an impending move across the country and prior commitments, I have not been able to drive the car and must sell the car. It is a great, reliable car that is an absolute blast to drive and whoever gets it will enjoy it greatly! The car is no reserve so it WILL sell to the highest bidder! The sale also includes another trunk lid and spare parts that I have. Good luck bidding and please contact me with any questions that you have. I can arrange shipping for any buyer. Engine Specs: •MGB rebuilt built to 'rally' specs. This includes headwork, new performance camshaft, exhaust and intake system. It runs excellent and is extremely smooth. •Electric radiator fan on an automatic thermostat system so that it doesn't overheat. •Lightweight alternator. •Oil cooler. Transmission and Rear End Specs: •Upgraded MGB transmission with the relocated starter so that the frame was not altered (commonly done on MGA). •Final drive is the original Coupe spec. This gives that extra touring ratio and works excellent with the upgraded drivetrain. Wheels and Brake Specs: •Wheels are authentic wire wheels that were professionally powder coated black with period correct Michelins. •The brakes were completely rebuilt with everything new. Power brakes were added by way of a brake booster from a 1957 MK1 Jaguar. This booster works excellent on the MGA brakes. The vacuum reservoir is also Jag MK 1. Body, Interior, and Electrical Specs: •New Fuel tank with Monza fuel cap.  (New pump, lines, filters etc.) •Electrics are all new with a new, modern alternator. Nice Lucas headlights. Upgraded indicator system, lovely horns, wipers and heater done like new. There are two electrical cutoff switches for security inside the cabin. •Bucket seats from a 1956 Austin Healey 100/4 that are very comfy.   Authentic Nardi steering wheel, Alloy shifter, Rosewood trim New windshield and non-reflective dash pad.   All new rubbers and weather-strip and New door latches. •Front bumper and valence replaced with the Sebring race valence. Run your fingers around the wheel arches and rear valence - perfect. Like the day it left the factory.   All new window rubbers. Spare wheel rack on the trunk lid to give more space in the trunk. Bonnet and trunk lid in alloy. I will answer a few of these questions here for others: 1) I will sell internationally and can work with shippers. Some people who have contacted me from Europe already have shippers that they have worked with before and have it arranged. Others have asked if I can provide assistance. I can do both. 2) I am 6' 2" and fit in the car extremely well. I can sit with my legs almost straight out to the gas pedal with little bend in my knees at all. There is a lot of leg room. The seat is adjustable forward and backwards so that any driver can fit. I have a lot of head room as well. 3) All of the lights work including: turn signals, head lights, running lights, license plate lights, and interior light. Also, the horn works very loudly. 4) The spare trunk lid will fit in the trunk of the car and will go with the car without any issues. 5) I have seatbelts to add to the car if the owner desires and those are coming with the car 6) There is no rust on the car and the body is in excellent shape. It is very solid. 7) The engine runs extremely strong and is very smooth and shifts very well. I have a TR3 as well that I have had for years and this car runs far smoother and drives far nicer. That TR3 loves the term "body roll" and the seats sure don't hold you well...   8) I am selling because I won't have a garage with enough space for my vehicles in Denver. I am lucky with space here but I must consolidate now.
