Vehicle Detail
For sale is a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. I purchased this vehicle in 2007 on eBay and it has been a good vehicle for me. I purchased it knowing it was a salvage/rebuilt vehicle. Current condition is it could use a paint job and also needs some transmission work. It is drivable and I have been driving it back and forth to work. I have had quite a bit of work done over last couple years and have all the records of repairs done. Significant items that have been worked on over last few years:June 2011 - 96,165 odometer - replaced transmission with rebuilt transmission (Honda Dealer - Service Department) - needs transmission work nowJune 2013 - 146,438 odometer - replaced engine and transmission mounts (Honda Dealer - Service Department)July 2014 - 160,768 odometer - replaced left/right tie rod protective boots (Honda Dealer - Service Department)September 2014 - 169,977 odometer - replaced A/C (Honda Dealer - Service Department) - very cold air now!December 2014 - 177,251 odometer - REPLACED IMA battery (Honda Dealer - Service Department) - last one lasted 100k milesFebruary 2015 - 181,371 odometer - REPLACED ENGINE and radiator (Honda Dealer - Service Department) - new engine was "used" with 52k miles on itMarch 2015 - 183,142 odometer - replace front struts (Firestone)July 2015 - 189,889 odometer - replaced front brake pads and calipers and machined rotors (Just Brakes) As can been seen if transmission was fixed, with an engine with only about 60k miles on it, the vehicle should last for quite a while. The engine alone is worth more than my starting price and the relatively new IMA batteries are also a significant value!!! You are welcome to come by and take a look and if desired I can scan and email any of the maintenance records that are desired. All will be turned over with the vehicle when sold. I routinely get over 40 mpg going back and forth to work - of course - I never get on the highway so max speed is 60 mph. Sometimes I have even gotten over 50 mpg to work but that is not stopping at a lot of traffic lights. On the highway, 35+ mpg are typical depending on speed and air conditioning use. Title is clear and indicates Salvage/Rebuilt. Please let me know if you have any questions! Should be a great deal for someone!!! NO RESERVE!!! HAPPY BIDDING!!!
