You are looking at a Period Correct 60’s Chopped Channeled Lowboy Tudor Sedan Delivery Hot Rod Model A! This 1929 Ford Model A has the right "Kustom Kulture Look". It has a fully rebuilt 8BA V8 Flathead Motor, mated to a late model 3 speed transmission with Hydraulic clutch. Yes this Hot Rod has three pedals! Gear selection is made with a Vintage “Tall” shifter. Two brand new matched Super 97 Carburetors and 2x2 Edmunds aluminum manifold set up with tunable linkage. All 12V wiring and harness with a GM 80 amp alternator, rebuilt Distributor with 8mm RED series wires, 12V Coil. Dual exhaust custom Headers with vintage oil canister cutouts, Sounds awesome! Custom mustang radiator with a electric pull fan to keep this Hot Rod running Cool like Fonzi. The Steel body straight and solid overall, that said it could use some minor rust repair and finish welding for a more polished Rod... We enjoyed it just as it is a "Raw Hot Rod". Originally a 29 Tudor Sedan that has been chopped 4 inches, with the roof and quarter windows filled, and a full functioning third rear door. Shot in Hot Rod Black that has been distressed and has Old School Flames. It is channeled 3 inches. Working doors that open and shut using stock latches. Original Chopped 27 Ford Grill flows seamlessly with the body lines. The chopped windshield is a perfect fit, chip and crack free. The bucket seats are done in Black Old School burlap with new foam, very comfortable (see pics). Vintage 60's 3 spoke black steering wheel mated to a Hot Rod column, 1950 Shoebox Ford steel dash with gauges. The Guide BLC headlights, bullet tail lights, and turn signals work as they should. A lowered ride with a Boxed Ford 1929 that has been stepped using 2" x 4" x .125 wall and with All American Steel from the seats back. The original rear cross member is set up with Ladder and Panhard bars with adjustable Air Bags, Chevy rear end with rebuilt Hydralic brakes . Up front we have Vintage Tube Dropped Axel with Heavy Tie Rod Joint F100 Cowl steering, Long shocks, early Ford spindles with 56 F100 Bendix brakes supplied juice from the compact 60 Apache Master Cylinder. The open drive line has a newer drive shaft. 5.60 15" Wide White Wall tires in the front on 1950 Steelie Rims, New 8.90 15" Wide White Wall tires in the rear on 1950 Reversed Rims. The Rims were painted Black with 50 Shoebox Ford Hubcaps. The spun 12 Gallon Aluminum Gas Tank in the rear has a remote cut off and electric fuel pump. A new 12V Battery is concealed in a compartment behind the passenger seat. In a nut shell this is a one of a kind classic! Turn the key and go cruise! This is not a museum quality car or trailer queen, but it is a nice driver car that will steal the show at any local gathering! Any and every-time I drive this car I get nothing but waves, thumbs ups, conversation, I cant come out of a store with out somebody standing there looking in! It has been driven for long distances at interstate speeds. This Hot Rod is a California car and has many new and upgraded parts, Lots of accessories and kustom pieces.
