Paint is in great condition but not perfect, up close you will see the ocassional small rock ding from normal wear and tear ( nothing major ) or dirt nib from being painted in a garage verses a paint booth etc. but all and all it looks great, and from 6 feet it looks perfect! All chips or small scratches etc. have been professionally touched up while hard top was being painted, which came slightly after the tub was originally painted. Any paint defects, of which there are only a few have photos taken of them to ensure no surprises to the new buyer. See Pics. During restore by previous owner rust was fixed, new steel in tub, new body mounts were fabricated and any steel needing attention was fixed at the time, see photos. NO RUST! NONE! Fires up easily with electronic choke and good carb. No leaks. See video on bonus photos page showing cold start. Lots of power, good stopping, goes fast but if you know FJ’s you know they are a bumpy ride at highway / freeway speeds, although this one is better than most, if you haven’t owned an FJ, I suggest a test drive before you buy, this vehicle is 43 years old. I am selling to start a new / larger project vehicle for my family. This is a solid truck and the "Reserve" price only reflects the parts or money I have into the vehicle. This is not a 50K restore, but's it's a solid cruiser with lots of expensive parts and upgrades that would make the vehicle a nice and clean daily driver to enjoy. SLIGHT ISSUES THE NEW OWNER MAY WANT TO ADDRESS: • Some windows slightly scratched, see photos • Seats have been vinyl painted, look good but not perfect, no back seats • No heater installed, was gonna add vintage air kit, never did, summer driven • No seat belts, seats have female side but need male side TERMS: Vehicle is sold as is with no warranty expressed or implied concerning condition and flaws, known or unknown. This is a used vehicle and a test drive and face to face is suggested. SHIPPING: I am more than willing to help with all shipping arrangements, as best I can, but the details, cost and final responsibility for shipping is the buyers not the sellers. I will coordinate with the driver / transporter of the buyers choosing, details and cost are the buyers.
