This is a true 1966 Myers Manx Orange Dune Buggy and is in great running condition. It is a blast to drive and currently has 8,132 miles. Its exterior color is a fantastic orange that shines crazy in the sun despite the few minor chips in the paint. There is chrome and polished aluminum everywhere. The interior had nice black and orange leather seating. The Dune Buggy is a great drive with its 4 speed manual and a 4 cylinder 1600 dual port engine, which has plenty of power. It has a great sounding exhaust with its stinger system. As the previous owner mentioned, since it is a Volkswagen engine, it does leak a little oil. The stereo system is in good sounding condition. The horn, signal, headlights, and brake lights all work well. The Dune Buggy has side pods that give it a much cleaner and finished look. It sits on center line 5 star polished aluminum wheels and tires are in good shape. The brakes are in good running condition; the steering is tight and handles well. Although it does not come with it, it is set up for a tow bar. This is a very dependable machine that starts up great and can take you wherever you want to go. It is street legal and comes with a clean 1966 Volkswagen Title. Overall, it is a great buggy and a nice ride. We encourage and are happy to arrange inspections.
