Vehicle Detail
For sale 1967 Mustang Convertible,Red with saddle interior, white top, V-8 auto trans. power steering, standard bucket seat interior, with console, AM radio, clock. This car has been stored 20+ years, the last 15 in Virginia. I don't have any history before my son inlaw purchased it in the eary 2000's. It hasn't ran or been driven since before he purchased it. I'm selling for my daughter. I brought the car back to Michigan to get it running. It runs & drives, I replaced the fuel pump, master cyl., wheel cyls., lines, hoses, shoes & hardware. It started right up after I replaced the fuel pump, filed the points, fresh fuel & oil. The car is not the original color, original color Lime Gold, black top, saddle interior, per the Marti report which goes with the car. Condition, It has had body work & amateur paint at some point, it has common Mustang problems, weak floors, frame, torque boxes, the doors sag. The top in in good condition, interior fair, glass good , except the windshield has a stone peck. The engine starts right up, trans works good, power steering good, some seals leaking from setting. Gas tank? it appears to be original, I haven't checked it out, it is dry, no fuel or line to front. I have been using a small tank to run it.The floors have had an amateur brace job at some point. Someone started to disassemble the front end, the trim pieces that are missing are included in the trunk. [see pictures]. Also this car was built in Dearborn, sold new in Saginaw Mich. Built 10/03/66. I have tried to cover everything I know about the car, please feel free to ask any questions, I'll try my best to answer them. The car has a clear Virginia title. This is being sold as is, it needs a lot of work, but worth saving.
