This vehicle is NOT a salvage vehicle and was acquired from an insurance company as a theft vehicle that was recovered with no damage. The vehicle was stolen out of Houston, TX and driven to New Orleans back in 2013 which is why it has such low mileage. The car was recovered by the New Orleans police department and was given back to the insurance company. The vehicle sat for over 2 years before the litigation issues were settled. The car when recovered had no battery in it so the insurance adjuster estimated the mileage at 14,500 miles per year which is the average miles for any vehicle and put 29,000 miles on the clear title that was issued. Because of this, the title is checked as NOT actual mileage but the mileage is true on the odometer. We've called the insurance company to try and get this resolved and have documentation from the Honda dealership that the car is under full warranty currently. We are selling the car with the title marked not actual mileage and discounting the price by $5,000. This car is still under factory warranty as of the date of sale. We are selling it "as is" with no implied or expressed warranty from our company. You can talk to your local dealership to see about any options of purchasing an extended warranty. This will be at the discretion of the buyer of this vehicle if he/she chooses to do so. Defects noticed: This car has one small dent on the driver door roof edge where the tow truck driver must have used a slim jim to open the door. The rear bumper cover was repainted because there was a small crack in the bumper cover from being moved by a fork lift. We had the repair completed for $300 by a professional painter. There is one small chip in the paint located on the right front side of the bumper cover.
