1983 Cherokee Chief in Show Room ConditionLOOK, BUT PLEASE DON'T BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS This vehicle has gone thru a $40,000, no expense spared, restoration. Everything that moves has been gone through, inspected, replaced with new parts when needed, resealed and topped off with appropriate synthetic fluids.This Cherokee Chief runs and drives as new and is loaded with options including tilt wheel, cruise, A/C, power steering, power brakes, electric windows and door locks. The miles are exempt, the odometer shows 65,842 but it has a brand new long block with about 2,000 miles on it. About everything is new, all body gaskets, door seals, window seals including rear window seal. New brakes, new shocks, new tires, new front end, rear end , radio speakers, carpet, headliner and the list goes on.If someone was to give you a completely rust free Cherokee Chief you could not restore it for a fraction of my reserve. But lets face it, NO ONE is going to give you a completely rust free Cherokee Chief. I really want to emphasize how rust free this body really is. It came from Arkansas and did not have any rust at all. The laser straight body was taken down to bare metal, then painted with base coat, clear coat to give it a mirror like finish. I built this Jeep to keep but I have bought a 69 BOSS 429 that I finally had the opportunity to purchase after trying for 21 years.Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to sell outside the auction.
