Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE I'm selling my 1967 RS Camaro with a completely balanced 427 Procharged/Intercooled engine that runs on pump gas with the intercooler installed up front. Clear title in hand purchased in Oregon. The car was originally a 6 cylinder RS car with a 10 bolt rear-end. I never intended to sell the car so everything is brand new on the car down to the tilt steering column. Everything is still in boxes or bags from the manufacturer. Every nut, bolt, bearing, seal, etc is new on the car. The car has had patch panels installed everywhere there was a hint of rust. The car has been mini-tubbed to look stock in the trunk and to accept wide/deep rear wheels/tires around 13" wide. Subframe connectors are installed to reach the rear frame rails for strength. Driveline loop is installed with a new balanced drive line. Has front and rear sway bars. The only used pieces on the car are the body, rear-end housing, and the console/gauges. It has a 12 bolt posi rear-end with new axles, bearings, seals, Ultimate cover, and new Auburn carrier with new 308 gears in it. All the steering linkages are brand new. All the bumpers and bushings are polyurethane. If I were to finish this car I would update the suspension with the Detroit Speed rear-end components and front-end components that are available today. They are cheap and are proven track ready. I would also install a new trunk pan and stock gas tank to remove the fuel cell from the trunk. All the car needs for parts is a new back window, transmission of your choice, wheels of your choice (the wheels pictured are not included), interior choice, paint choice, and different springs for the coilovers. The springs on the coilovers are incorrect rates for this car. Chris Alson's sent the wrong spring rates but they are so cheap I never sent them back because the shipping and hassel of doing so basically cost as much as the new springs. Currently it has the Chris Alston's triangulated 4 link holding the rear-end, but I would install the Detroit Speed setup if I were to finish the build. The engine needs a boost referenced distributor from MSD and that is it. Set the fuel pressure to the carb and it's ready to run. Car has a Tilton Hydraulic clutch pedal installed so your leg doesn't get tired when driving. Car has Baer Racing brakes all the way around with cross drilled & zinc coated rotors with stainless steel brake lines & hoses installed. Car comes with ATS front spindles to correct the bump steer that the Camaro's have. Exhaust mufflers are Flow Master connected to Hooker Super Comp headers. Car has new (Not Pictured here) Dakota digital gauges for the column gauge holes, and power windows for all four windows still new in the boxes as well. Every wiring harness for the car are still in bags along with the stainless pieces, bumpers, taillight bezels, ignitions switch door handles & keys, window felts, rubber kits, etc. Grill is new along with the hideaway headlight bezels. New BeCool aluminum radiator with fans.Includes a Spearco Intercooler for the supercharger. New door hinges & hood hinges. New front & rear spoiler. Stripe stencil kit. The hood is new from GM as well. Everything I could purchase from GM direct I did. If I had time to add up my receipts I'm guessing there is around $50K in this car. The Engine was about $30K alone. Note the Orange engine in the pics was just a dummy block & heads for mocking up the supercharger plumbing and isn't included. The completed Red engine is what you are buying in the car. If you have questions about the car you can give me a call at 541-295-2080. Car is sold as-is with no warranty and I extend no liability from the car's use. $1,000 non-refundable deposit due at the time of winning bid. Local pickup only.
