Here is a 1988 Volkswagen Cabriolet that needs a lot of work but can be rescued. The odometer does not work, so the actual mileage is unknown. The original top frame was bent, so I bought another one but did not install it. It is sitting in the back of the car. Neither top cloth is in very good condition. The top has been down, so the car has been rained in. I drove the car to where it is, but after sitting for a while, it did not start back up. There will be water in the gas because the cap is missing, so the first thing you will need to do is drain the tank. The body is original and the only damage is to the trunk lid; it has a fair ding in it. One tire got badly damaged, so the spare is on and the original wheel is in the trunk.
