Finished in one of the most desirable factory original colors - Signal Red with a matching black top & tonneau covers. A true survivor, it was never exposed to the elements or left to fall into disrepair, the car is mechanically excellent and ready for touring and other enthusiast events. A completely honest preserved classic that's sure to bring its new owner years of reliable enjoyment and investment appreciation. The accident free body is laser straight showing all original factory panel gaps. The glass and chrome are all in excellent original condition, as are the original wheels and centre caps. The black soft top was replaced in and is still in excellent condition with clear zip-out rear window. The car's undercarriage is entirely original and sound, free of any corrosion and completely straight and correct, this car has never been dismantled and the underside shows limited exposure to moisture. The car's interior is in similarly clean original condition, the seats have been professionally restored with new vinyl covers & foam backing, carpets and interior panels have all been replaced showing zero wear. The wood veneer dash is completely crack free and 100% original. It has not been refinished and shows as new. All other dash top cap & vinyl fascia pieces are pristine. All gauges & switches are fully functional, installed is a Sony upgraded stereo with upgraded rear deck mounted Pioneer speakers and 6X9” box speakers as well. The musical sound is amazing. Completely numbers matching and original, the 2.5L inline 6 cylinder starts effortlessly, idles consistently and pulls strong and smoothly through each of the gears. The engine compartment is pristine, the original paint has been detailed and waxed and shows as nice as the exterior. The vehicle comes with owner’s manual and receipts provided by previous owners. Receipts dated to the 80’s included the following in descending order: 2015 – rebuild both carbs, install new Kidney pads, install all new Green hoses and correct BL clamps, flush rad, oil and filter, install brand new windshield, install new battery, full tune up including new Petronix electronic ignition, flame thrower coil, install new vacuum advance unit on distributor, install new trunk kit, replace spare with brand new full sized 185/65R15 spare tire, install new front valance, install new lower finisher, MTO safety inspection. 2012-(35975) - oil and filter, rear differential remove and replace fluids, Crown rust proofing, 2011 – oil and filter (2), machined head, replace ALL valve seats, install hi-intensity halogen headlamps, brake shoes and wheel cylinders, windshield washer motor, plugs, wires, distributer cap, hoses, electric fan switch and external fan, new horns, electronic ignition installed, rebuilt master cylinder, rear engine mounts, carb rebuild kit, air filters, Crown rust proofing. 2010 – oil and filer (2), 4 Michelin Harmony radial tires – P205/65R15, Chrome rocker cover, windshield trim and rubber install, new glass install, Crown rust proofing 2009 – oil and filter (2), wheel bearings, steering rack, alternator fan and pulley, Crown Rust proofing, Richard Good aluminum fan shroud, replace upper and lower control arms, install new sleeves both top and bottom, adjust front wheel bearings both sides, check diff and tranny levels, new washer pump, 2008 – water pump, oil and filter, Crown rust proofing,2007, install all new carpets, replace the seats and seat diaphragms and seat forms, install the new door panels, replace the clutch master, oil and filters at 31550, 31223, rad flush, Crown rust proofing. There are so many receipts including receipts for all new exhaust and inlet valves, 12 cam followers, rod bearings, main bearings, exhaust system, clutch bearing, new differential mounts, oil filter conversion, and the list goes on and on. On……………needless to say this is one spectacular TR6 that has been meticulously cared for. There are virtually no chips in the paint (9.5/10), the interior is amazing (9.5/10), the convertible top is excellent (9.5/10) with no yellowing or rips in the material, the chrome is excellent (9.5/10), and the car is a tight running TR6. This is not a body off car so the entire underside is coated with Crown rust proofing which has preserved all the metal surfaces since 1975.
