An original Futura V8 Automatic car, was born pale gold with black interior, color change to red was many years ago. Bought this car in Ballard WA in about 2009 from an Alaska fisherman who was a long-time owner. He had the car painted at Phil's on Crown Hill (well known shop). Was $9,000 back about 15 years ago, paint still looks really really good with no rust bubbles/bondo showing etc., it's a very sharp looking car! The body and under carriage have been dry life-long I suspect it was born in California, or maybe Eastern WA as the rust and rot is nil. The only spot that *could* use attention (has been like this for 15+ years and not changed) is the inner trunk drip rail where the gasket got wet and held water there, again, it has been like this already for 15+ years and isn't creeping. Motor has about 30k on it, unknown trans and rear end. Do not think numbers matching but have not checked. Dash has been restored (expensive) and is beautiful! $2,000.00 in tires and wheels, fresh. Trunk moulding is unobtainium and waited a year for a custom made billet then chromed PERFECT reproduction - a beautiful and near impossible piece to find. Also, has near impossible to find "radio delete" plate (the real one, not the cheap black thing repo dealers sell). Car is 2 bbl, single exhaust and drives as such. If I was keeping the car the first thing I would do is add 4bbl and dual exhaust, would be much nicer - but for now she drives like a little old lady car :-) Price is super fair and I have seen the junk people ask 15K for and any nice car people are opening at +20K - so I am pretty firm here at 13,950.00 FYI.
