This car was started for a customer we had that wanted a nice driver. The car is virtually rust free, all floorpans, and trunk pans are in excellent shape. Because of budget constraints, we were limited to what we could do to this car. For the most part the body is totally original, we did not do any repair to any of the panels. Therefore the panels are not perfect. We would like to have had more time, and a little larger budget, but it was not within his finances. It does have a very nice basecoat clearcoat paint job. The interior is all totally new, the car has new tires, new carburetor and electronic ignition. Brakes work excellent. The trunk has been re-carpeted. The colors are very close to original with the exception of the light burgundy roof and fender inserts Those were originally white. This car has the original 347 cu in V8, and four speed automatic transmission, and runs excellent. This is a nice driver. It was his intention to put vintage heat and air conditioning in this car, therefore all the original heating system has been removed. It is still with the car all parts are there. The windows have suffered separation and have stains in the lower part. The drivers window is cracked, but all glass is good. All new door glass comes with this car, we had already ordered it, with intentions to replace all of it. Our buyer has since suffered some major financial setbacks, and is unable to complete the purchase of this vehicle. Therefore we are offering it for sale on eBay to the highest better. We regret he was unable to get his dream car however now is your chance to purchase an excellent 57 Pontiac that you could complete as a father-son project. Very very little needs to be done to this car. Exhaust is new, so there is not a lot with the exception of very minor details to make this car a show car. This car has all new rubber, some has been installed some has not. What has not been installed will come with the car in the trunk. Everything works on this car all lights, gauges on the dash work properly, radio does not work. The white walls on this car have been painted on, they are not true white walls. Again we want to stress that this is not a totally restored car, but it is a very solid nonrust excellent driver. Fly into Knoxville and we will pick you up and you can drive this back home!
