Sweet 1964 Toyota FJ40 , The truck was restored about 10 years ago ,Not a frame off but staring with a very clean & dry southwest truck . Even after 10 years it still turns heads and is very presentable . UP close not at 20 feet .The body seams are very clean shape edges no flaky seams .The frame is the same very clean no flakes at all . The engine has been up graded to the 2F that does purr like a kitten .has a few minor ,issues .Horn does not work ,The interior light & license plate light does not work . Noticed a oil leak the last 3 or 4 times I've drove it .Leaks a spot about the size of the top of a soda can when the oil is warmed up .Also has a piece of weather strip loose on the window .Now for the good . Great body NO rust and the frame is rust free .Upgraded 2F engine , Drives straight with no slop in the steering brakes also stop straight does not pull to one side or the other .No grinding in the trans .Shifts as it should. Very presentable paint not a 20 footer still looks good up close with good gloss even after a 10 year restoration .Seat are like new front & rear . I had the wheels repainted just because I put new 31 10.50 BFG all terrains with matching spare and didn't like when the old weights were on the wheels left scuffs in the wheel paint , so had them repainted with weights on the backside now . Also comes with a set of half doors so if you want to run with the top off ( half doors will need handles ) Also comes with a very well documented notebook of over $10,000 off restoration and upgrades over the years . I have 2 Toyotas and have a chance to buy a UNI -MOG that's I have been trying to buy for 3 or 4 years . I have always wanted to,build an expedition truck so I'M going for it . The yellow FJ is u will see one one of the picts is already sold . All in this is a VERY nice truck that turns heard all will go up in value .
