Called the MKII, it was an alternative to the Triumph TR3A or Jaguar E-Type. The MKII was initially offered as an occasional 4-seat roadster called the BT7 or the 2-seat variant from known as the BN7. Both versions used flat front windscreens and detachable side curtains in the style of a roadster. Equipment on the MKII included 15x4 chromed wire wheels, a brake servo system and a tonneau cover that could be opened for just the driver. The BT7 offered here was the recipient of a meticulous, body-off, nut-and-bolt restoration, performed in 2007/2008 to stunning results with photographic documentation. Finished in correct delivery Healey Blue paintwork over elegant Blue leather trim, this 3000 has been most garaged and enjoyed sparingly since restoration and remains very presentable, with an outstandingly smooth body and paint, beautifully refinished brightwork, correct wiring and matching components, nicely detailed interior, engine compartment and undercarriage. Built in November 6-14 of 1961 and dispatched on December 27th destined for St. Louis, Missouri - options included wire wheels, roadspeed tires, adjustable steering column, laminated windscreen, heater and overdrive gearbox.
