You are bidding on a 1980 Pontiac Trans Am. This includes both front and rear wheel well flares, only a few hundred of the Trans Am vehicles were built with this feature!!! These are original to the car. Vehicle has a newly rebuilt Pontiac 400 6.6 Liter V8 motor that has been driven no more than 1000 miles from the time it was rebuilt. Engine has brand new Alternator, Power Steering Pump, Fuel Pump, Water Pump, Edelbrock Pontiac Performer Intake, Rochester Quadrajet 800 CFM Carburetor. The engine also has a great sounding aggressive cam that gives it a nice rumble and looks great topped off with the shaker hood. The transmission is an automatic TH350 transmission with a 2100 Stall Torque Converter. This set up makes this a great cruising car however not built for racing, not very aggressive on 0-60 time but runs and drives great and has no problem going up to any speed. Also has brand new exhaust system and mufflers that were installed last year. Has brand new tires and American Standard Racing Aluminum wheels, new brakes all the way around including new brake lines. The brakes are very easy to stop and the buyer will have no issues for some time to come. The brakes were replaced last year and only driven a few times. The car is painted black and has a few minor scratches and chips from the paint, the fresh paint job could use a good wet sanding and buffing to make it shine. The car was painted a few years back and stored in a garage, never driven until about a year and half ago. The interior was replaced and now has white leather seats, working instruments in the dash, with exception of temp gauge which is located underneath the dash on the drivers side, and a Panasonic CD player with new speakers. The trunk and glove box are functional and can be opened with the key. This is a great car and it looks and drives great. The winning bidder will also receive the Trans Am Decals including the screaming eagle for the hood of the car. The decals are silver and purchased from a Trans Am parts catalog. On Jun-25-15 at 18:52:19 PDT, seller added the following information: Some important updates I left out of the description, after getting some questions I thought I would answer for everyone. The car has sub frame connectors to make the frame solid. Brand new suspension with all new rear leaf springs, new front coil springs, all new shocks (KYB), all new bushings in the upper and lower control arms. The shaker hood is a full functional shaker hood, not just for decoration. This is different than many of the Trans Am models that are for sale, the shaker was modified to be entirely functional. The instruments in the dashboard are almost entirely functional. The only one that is no longer working is the temperature gauge and it was replaced with a model under the dashboard. The clock in the dash is still functional and works great!! Many of the clocks stopped working however this original gauge is still functioning like it rolled out of the factory.
