1972 Triumph T150 Trident Matching-numbers five-speed T150V, showing just under 9500 mi., believed to be original mileage. Two-owner bike, owned from new by a gentleman who sold it a couple of years ago on his 80th birthday. Bike was mildly & tastefully upgraded cosmetically, most obvious change being the addition of early T150 'ray-gun' mufflers. Less obvious is the BSA quick-change rear hub, making for much easier tire changes. Also from BSA are folding rider footpegs as fitted to the Rocket III. Seating was improved with a nicely done café-style dual seat from Corbin, while the Bonneville-style gas tank was treated to a fresh paint job. Aftermarket headlight brackets echo the café-racer theme. Mechanically the engine remains stock, but the electrics have been upgraded with a Tri-Spark electronic ignition & three-phase voltage regulator. The engine starts easily and settles into a reliable idle. Never intended to be a 'show queen' this mild period-modified Trident is an honest rider-quality machine that shows the nicks and scratches of good use. In looks & sound it stands out from the Britbike crowd. Bike is located in Perris, California, has a clear CA title and is available for inspection by appointment.
