1970 Ford Mustang Clear California Title in my name With NON_OPP status. So no DMV late fees to pay (California). Front left fender was hit so the Car sat 25 years behind a house on a cement slab. I bought the car towed it around and around (expensive) home then to do the vin check home again- because it was out of the system. The I went and registered it with the Ca DmV headache system. Then replaced the fuel pump and had the Carb rebuilt. Drained the fuel added fresh gas changed the engine oil( twice now super clean) she fired right up after a few tries. We checked and filled all other fluid levels.The 1970 runs good after you warm her up, she does drive and stops well. Placed about five gallons through her now no overheating or strange engine noise. The idea was to build my Daughter her dream car but when the wife saw the stock fuel tank location on the old Mustang she said no way are you give this to her. So here we are. I did not do a full tune-up or fully adjust the carb. Car has no rust- none in the trunk and I did look under the carpet non- light surface oxidation on the roof from the car cover rubbing through the paint on it. It has factory Air, power steering and power disc brakes. The car left front fender has been replaced the inside body panel could use some light pulling. The hood needs body work. Car has never been hit in the back or other sides. The driver side window was broken with a softball while in the back yard the previous owner removed the glass- I bought a new glass for in (not installed). This is a stock 302 automatic car. True uncut dash. The Factory AM Radio is still in it. Dome light stills works when you open the door. The lighter works and the fan motor works. The compressor is no good /so AC does not work. It is all stock but the fender on the left side (replaced with used fender), two round cuts for alignment access and air shocks. It needs to paint, minor body work, headliner, exhaust donuts leak and so on to be perfect/ or with minimal work could be a daily driver as you fix up the cosmetics. I do not have the missing rim. Interior- Passenger seat is not torn- dash has one crack,-the bottom half of the back seat is fine-top half is torn on top, driver side seat is torn- all seatbelts are present. The carpet front half has wear and is torn. Passenger side door panel looks great. The driver side panel is fair all parts for that side are in the trunk of the car. This is because of the broken glass on that door. No Headliner present. I do have the Original fender so you can pull any parts you need. The factory spare is on the left front. I am looking to sell the car first time out. So set the start price lower than what I paid for it and DMV.. Forget what I have spent so far. If you wish to have a look at it in person you can not a problem. The car will starts right up. You can not drive it on the streets as it has no insurance nor valid California tags.
