Vehicle Detail

I bought the Firebird in 1985 new from a Pontiac dealer. I only drive the Firebird 25 miles per week to visit my disabled brother on Saturdays. Most of the time during the week I usually walk to the food store so I'm not using the car that much anymore. It still runs good but I can't afford to repair the car if it breaks down. I took the car to some dealers in the area and asked their advice on what they would sell the car for in its current condition. They told me to sell the Firebird "as is" for at least 800. Therefore, I'll make the starting bid 800 dollars. The cost for shipping and title transfer you would have to pay. On Jun-19-15 at 12:26:56 PDT, seller added the following information: I mentioned in my original description that the Firebird was being sold "as is." However, I just realized that the photo showing the driver's seat was an old photo. I tried to remove the photo but wasn't able to. So, I uploaded a new photo showing the current condition of the driver's seat. Since I decided to upload that new photo, I decided to upload additional photos showing the other problems that Firebird has such as a crack in the dashboard, which I didn't notice before. I also show the broken door handle on the driver's side door, which you can simply put back to the correct position after you have opened the door. The door handle photo also shows a slight drop in the door creating the need to slam the door closed for the door lock latch to catch properly. One good thing I show is the hatchback door open showing the trunk area and the brand new full size spare tire. I had the car recently inspected to see if it would pass the PA safety inspection because the current sticker expires on June 30, 2015. I was told that the brakes were good but the car had other problems that needed to be fixed such as the sway bar, idler arm, and a front end alignment. This is the main reason why I am selling the car because I can't afford to make the repairs necessary for the car to pass the PA safety inspection. In light of this new information if you have already made a bid on the Firebird and want to retract your bid, I won't object. The bottom line is that I can't afford to own the Firebird anymore.
